DrizzleFix exists to give gardeners advice they can trust. This Editorial Policy explains how we research, write, test, and correct our guides.
Our mission
We want anyone, including complete beginners and renters, to be able to set up and maintain a drip system with confidence. Clear, honest, tested guidance is the whole point.
How we research and test
Guides begin with hands-on experience installing and repairing real systems, then we verify the details. We test parts in working gardens, measure flow and pressure where it matters, and quote realistic prices and timeframes.
Sourcing and fact-checking
When we state a fact about water use, plant needs, or a product, we check it against manufacturer specifications and reputable sources such as university extension services and recognized gardening authorities. We link to those sources so you can read further.
Independence
Our recommendations are based on merit. Advertising and affiliate relationships do not decide what we cover or what we recommend. If a cheaper part works just as well, we say so.
Author expertise
Our content is written and reviewed by our editorial team, led by founding editor Marisol Reyes, who has more than a decade of hands-on irrigation experience. Learn more on our About page.
Corrections
We fix confirmed errors quickly and note significant updates on the page. If you spot a mistake, please tell us through our contact page.
Updates
Irrigation gear and best practices change. We revisit popular guides to keep them current, and the byline shows when an article was last updated.
